typically the two highest costs of operation are:
MANPOWER + COST OF CHEMICAL
Patent pending technology quickly pays back investment and reduces ongoing costs.

SAVE MONEY AND STOP OVER INJECTION

When you consider the cost of ownership of low dollar inaccurate pumps they are generally very expensive.

Inaccurate pumps force operators to over inject chemical by an estimated 20% to ensure that minimum safe injection rates are met. Using the FusionTM will provide the confidence to dial back the over-injection. Even at relatively low flow rates and chemical costs, Fusion's payback period is typically less than one year, not including the additional benefits.

VARYING PROCESS PRESSURE CAN SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT THE ACCURACY OF CHEMICAL INJECTED

Fusion automatically adjusts flow rates for pressure fluctuations using patented pressure sensing technology; otherwise, significant error in injection will occur. The graph to the left compares Fusion's performance against that of a leading pump manufacturers.

VOLTAGE FLUCTUATIONS AFFECT INJECTION RATE

Solar powered injection systems will experience daily battery voltage fluctuation due to day/night cycles, as well as longer term voltage fluctuations with changing seasons, weather and cloud cover.

A properly designed solar system will fluctuate up to 1.3 volts during normal use - approximately 7.5% to 10% change in voltage, as depicted at right. This variation directly effects motor speed and flow rate.

Error Injection Rates Voltage Changes Chart

A typical pump's injection rate varies directly with voltage and under normal weather conditions can generate an error exceeding 30%. FusionTM keeps the rate consistent under the same conditions using the patented voltage compensation feature.

REDUCED METHANOL

Automatically adjusts injection as the temperature varies. Having four temperature zones, each with independent injection rates optimizes chemical.

INTELLIGENT CONTROLLER

The Fusion Intelligent Controller uses patent pending logic to interpret pump feedback and display a process pressure estimate.

Pressure, voltage, current, motor temperature, torque, flow rate and other variables are used to interpret the health of the system and provide feedback to the user. Protect your capital investment from abnormal conditions, and enhance system up-time through fault-tolerant self-recovery.

REDUCED OPERATOR TIME ON SITE

  • No mechanical adjustments are necessary.
  • A single button is used to make rate changes.
  • The bar graph depicts the time it takes a person to make rate changes on the FusionTM compared to mechanical pumps.

REDUCED INVENTORY COSTS

The Fusion's wide operating range and AC/DC power capabilities reduces the need to carry inventory for multiple pump models. Maintenance is made simple with minimal need to carry multiple pistons, seals, and fluid ends.

Current Draw

REDUCED SYSTEM MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

Brushless, soft starting motor eliminates inrush currents which reduces mechanical stresses and extends motor, pump, and battery life. The FusionTM has 1/10 the start-up current of the leading pump provider, with 500,000 fewer current spikes per year.
